LEGO® House Presents a New Artistic Experience – A Celebration of Creativity, Imagination, and Play
Running until 10 June 2025, the Forest of Dreams at LEGO House invites guests to explore the magic of play through the imaginative creations of LEGO Play Ambassador Chen Fenwan.
Billund, Denmark: LEGO® House, the Home of the Brick, is excited to announce its latest experience: “The Forest of Dreams.” Officially opened to guests on 11 April and running until 10 June, this limited-time activation is designed to celebrate how artistic expression and LEGO building can come together in surprising and magical ways—offering guests of all ages the opportunity to reflect, imagine, and build something extraordinary.
At the heart of the experience is renowned LEGO Play Ambassador Chen Fenwan, an international Paper Cut Artist, who has reimagined her delicate craft in LEGO brick form, showcasing the endless possibilities of creative expression.
A Unique Fusion of Art & Play
For the first time at LEGO House, Chen Fenwan’s intricate paper-cut trees have been transformed into breathtaking LEGO brick-built masterpieces, taking center stage in the public LEGO Square. This one-of-a-kind exhibition celebrates how play can bridge artistic traditions, inspire new creative expressions, and bring people together across generations and cultures.
“Play is a powerful force—it encourages us to see the world differently, experiment fearlessly, and share meaningful experiences with others” says Kathrine Kirk Muff, Managing Director of LEGO House. “We’re excited to showcase how LEGO bricks can breathe new life into a traditional art form and inspire guests at LEGO House to unleash their own creativity.”
Step Into the “Forest of Dreams”
Alongside the exhibition, guests are invited to participate in the immersive “Forest of Dreams” activity in the Creative Lab located in the Red Zone of LEGO House. Here, visitors can build their own LEGO papercut-style artwork inspired by nature and imagination. Each creation can be added to a growing collective installation inside LEGO House—offering a chance for everyone to leave their mark and contribute to a shared visual masterpiece that will remain on display for a limited time.
A Playful Experience Inside & Out
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by three incredible brick-built versions of Chen Fenwan’s iconic Paper Cut Trees in LEGO Square, alongside a brick-built LEGO minifigure of Chen herself, welcoming visitors to the experience with a warm creative spirit
“I love exploring new ways to express creativity, and LEGO bricks allow for endless possibilities,” says Chen Fenwan, LEGO Play Ambassador. “It’s incredible to see my paper-cutting techniques come to life in LEGO form, and I can’t wait to see what guests build in the Forest of Dreams!”
