This week’s LEGO Ideas Feature is brought to you by Brian b59124 and their epic looking Armor of Honor!
The idea is a humanoid version of a Black Falcon Knight Minifigure, dressed in the black & blue armour most fans know and love. It has a total of 656 pieces and stands an mighty 28cm tall. It includes a Knight, sword, shield, axe, and one Minifigure. The buildable figure can be displayed in different poses, either holding the axe or sword along with the shield.
The Black Hawk Knight was the first LEGO set my father gave me when I was a child. He has protected me like a knight and has accompanied me through countless childhood memories, making him incredibly meaningful to me. – Brian b59124
The display base has a storage space underneath it, where the axe can be disassembled into four parts and neatly stored away. The shield can also be hung on the Knight’s back. Hidden underneath of the base is the King’s secret treasure map, guarded by the Knight for as long as he stands.
The brick-built weapons look amazing and match the scale of the Knight perfectly. Being a fan of the LEGO Castle theme I would purchase this day one if/when LEGO made it. The Black Falcons have to be the most iconic faction from LEGO and rightly so, the insignia is simple but mighty at the same time. This would fit into any fans display and stand proud protecting the LEGO around it.
This project is of a moderate size, making it suitable for collecting multiple figures to form your own army, or it can serve as a large statue to be displayed in a castle or ruins, adding a unique charm.
The set overall is great fun and one I’d purchase if given the chance. Come on LEGO, this needs to be produced! We would like to wish Brian b59124 the best of luck in promoting and gaining the required 10k supporters needed to get this product idea to the next stage.
