The quaint village, crime fighting duo, Nicholas Angel & Danny Butterman, are here in Minifigure form by the fantastic team at Minifigs.me!

If you are unfamiliar with the comedy movie from which these are inspired by, have you been living under a rock? Police officer Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is known to be the best across London. His seniors, who are jealous of his achievements, transfer him to a remote village where he encounters various challenges. Joined by officer Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), they stumble across a series of gruesome deaths and a village full of gun-welding residents.

We were kindly gifted the duo by Minifigs.me for a closer look. As always they have done an incredible job in recreating them using genuine LEGO parts, they even have dual faces, accessories and a 3D printed shotgun. Nicholas is the main character and sports a Police vest filled with tools to help him fight crime along with a shotgun accessory. Danny has his navy blue sweater on and comes complete with a baton.

The printing is top notch and always surprises me just how sharp they can get it. The dual faces are spot on too, with their standard face on one side and sunglasses on the other. I’ll definitely be displaying these with the shades on and their weapons held high, hey! I may even have them patrolling my LEGO City, Gregsville.

These two would be the perfect gift for fans of the movie and ultimately the ‘Cornetto Trilogy‘ – they even make The Shaun Of The Dead characters.
