Polybags are great, they’re extremely affordable and make for a great entry point into the World of LEGO.

Here at The Brick Post we love a good LEGO Polybag, so much in fact that we go out of our way to grab the latest releases. This includes bagging the awesome and much sought-after Batman 1992 (30653) set, which comes with a moulded cape piece!

We source all our LEGO Polybags from one place, perhaps the best shop in the UK for such things, their delivery times are exceptional and customer service is top notch – Brick-a-Brac keep a large selection of stock and at great prices, we picked up the aforementioned Batman Polybag for £4.49. We also have a discount code, use THEBRICKPOST for 10% off spends of £35 or more, result!

If you’re followers of us in Instagram then you may already know we host weekly live streams, building random LEGO sets and chatting about the hobby in general. This week we built the 3 Polybags we’re reviewing here, so it’s you’d like to watch them building put together please watch here.

Without further ado, onto the review!

LEGO Batman 1992 (30653):

This small but mighty Polybag is perhaps the highlight of my year so far and perhaps that of many ither AFOLs (adult fan of LEGO). It contains a Batman Minifigure with the very rare and sought-after Moulded Cape piece, only ever seen in 2 previous (pricey) sets.

The small section of wall Batman perches on is similar in style to the longer plinth found in the now retired Batmobile (76139) set. The corner-section is smart with a lot of architectural detail crammed into such a small space. The use of inverted slopes to break up the flat wall elements.

As mentioned above it’s the moulded cape piece that really sells this Polybag, it’s just so cool. For a fully rubber element it is strong and durable and the Bat-logo printing is crisp and bright.

Take a look at our photos below and let us know your thoughts on this set. Grab yours here!

LEGO Snowman (30645):

I know it’s not Winter or Christmas but building this LEGO Snowman was still enjoyable. It has a couple of interesting techniques such as the blue scarf and the way it connects together and to the Snowman, along with SNOT (studs not on top) elements inside the body.

It’s a fun and sweet little build that I’d highly recommend to anyone. It looks very similar to the one produced back in 2014 (30197) which is also available from Brick-a-Brac.

You can pickup your own LEGO Snowman Polybag here.

LEGO Ninjago Kai & Rapton’s Temple Battle (30650):

I don’t tend to touch much LEGO Ninjago related stuff, although I do appreciate their creativity and great looking sets, it’s just I’m not that into it as a theme.

This Temple Battle Polybag is surprisingly good, as it comes with a nice little build and 2 awesome Minifigures. The build is simple but looks the part with a nice array of pieces, including 1x1x6 grey bricks, gold daggers and a transparent orange sword!

The Kai and Rapton Minifigures looks great and both have something worth mentioning. Kai has double-sided face printing, a standard face on one side and a masked face on the other, the all-over red hood piece is also a nice accessory to have.

Rapton also had 1 faces, not as good but still nice to have the choise of expression. The torso is black with gold accents including the gold arms.

Overall this Polybag is great and a welcomed addition to the collection. You can grab yours here.
