The resort located at Windsor, is searching for a Mini Mayor to celebrate the new additions to the London area of Miniland. Open to kids aged from 5-12 years old, they are asked to think, design and/or build a new addition for Miniland London, with the winning design being built by LEGOLAND Master Model Makers. The winning Mayor will also receive tickets and stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel complete with a LEGO goody bag.

THE LEGOLAND® WINDSOR RESORT LAUNCHES NATIONAL SEARCH FOR ITS FIRST MINI MAYOR OF MINILAND LONDON
The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is on a nationwide search to find its inaugural Mini Mayor of Miniland London to celebrate its recent makeover
Children aged 5-12 years will be able to unleash their creativity by submitting their mini manifesto with ideas on what they would like to add, design or change in Miniland London
The winner will see their idea come to life in LEGO® form and take pride of place in Miniland
19th March 2025: Calling all young builders, and LEGO® enthusiasts! The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is on a nationwide quest to find its inaugural Mini Mayor of Miniland London, and it could be you.
To mark the makeover of Miniland’s London cluster, in which new buildings such as the Cheesegrater building and City Hall have joined the refreshed Gherkin to make up the iconic London skyline, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is inviting young minds to show their creativity and imagination by submitting their mini manifestos.
The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is challenging five to 12-year-olds to present their unique vision for Miniland London in the form of something they’d like to add, design or change to the scene. Submissions can be made on the LEGOLAND Windsor website, examples include a short video (up to 1.5 minutes), a written idea, a vibrant drawing, or a picture shared of an impressive LEGO® build.
Ramesh Ganeson, Vice President at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “We’re really excited to be giving the iconic skyline of Miniland London a makeover and marking the occasion with a nationwide search to find our first ever Mini Mayor of Miniland London. This competition is a fantastic opportunity for children to unleash their creativity and see their ideas come to life as the winning submission takes up pride of place in the attraction. We can’t wait to see the incredible designs that are going to come our way. May the best Mini Mayor win!”
The winning design will be brought to life as a LEGO® model before being unveiled and taking up residency in Miniland London. The Mini Mayor of Miniland London will enjoy an overnight stay at one of the three LEGOLAND Windsor Resort hotels, park entry tickets and a LEGO® goodie bag.
The Mini Mayor of Miniland London competition will run from 18th March 2025 to 15th April 2025. All entries are to be submitted here. Entrants must be aged between five-12 years of age. Full competition Ts&Cs can be viewed here.
