For fans of the movie and franchise, will instantly recognise the character, in her long dark red raggedy coat, her black bowler-style hat and of course her Pigeons. If you’re unfamiliar with the movie, which first released in 1992, it Follows the story”of Kevin McCallister, who is left alone again, this time in New York. The “Pigeon Lady” was a homeless woman who Kevin McCallister befriends while exploring New York City. She often spends her time with pigeons in Central Park. Although Kevin was initially frightened of her, he later learned that she was polite, educated, kind-hearted – despite her life going astray. When Kevin was attacked by Harry and Marv in the park, the Pigeon Lady rescues him.
Minifigs.me have designed and printed her using genuine LEGO parts, even including a Pigeon. The team have done an incredible job, with printed torso and legs, the inclusion of the Pigeon accessory is great, especially as it’s a new part on the LEGO market. They have certainly caught the charm from the movie and it’s one custom Minifigure I’ll definitely be picking up soon for my personal collection.
