Life-size LEGO F1 McLaren Makes Pit Stop At LEGOLAND Windsor!

A life-sized LEGO replica of the F1 McLaren car driven by British Grand Prix winner, Lando Norris, and his teammate Oscar Piastri, is now on show at LEGOLAND Windsor!

The model is making a pit stop at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort from today until 15th July. The nearly 1:1 scale brick-masterpiece using nearly 400,000 LEGO bricks and weighs in at 2,420kg. It took master builders a staggering 1,800 hours to construct. Visits to the resort can see this beauty now and pose next to it for a photo or two.

8th July 2025: It’s time to fasten your seatbelts this summer as McLaren Racing is making a high-speed pit stop at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort from today with a life-sized LEGO® replica of the F1 car driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Following the excitement of the weekend’s British Grand Prix, fans who can’t get enough of the high-octane action will have a chance of a lifetime to get up close and personal with the iconic MCL39 F1 McLaren for one week only from Tuesday 8th – 15th July.

Constructed with the precision of a championship-winning pit crew, this near 1:1 scale model of McLaren’s MCL39 Formula 1 car is a true masterpiece of LEGO engineering.

Built from nearly 400,000 bricks, this impressive model weighs a staggering 2,420kg. The engineering feat took approximately 1,800 hours to complete, with a dedicated team of six highly skilled model makers working tirelessly to bring it to life.

Capable of reaching speeds of up to 20kph, every intricate detail of the McLaren car is captured with remarkable accuracy, raising the chequered flag for creativity and craftsmanship.

The ‘Papaya Army’ and F1 fans alike will be able to grab a selfie with the LEGO MCL39 replica which will be located outside the LEGO store. Inside, guests will be able to get their hands on the wide range of the LEGO F1 LEGO collection to create their own high-speed builds at home.

Those who want to continue the F1 fandom at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort should head to the Ferrari Build and Race Experience. Featuring three interactive zones; Build and Race, Ferrari LEGO model, and a DUPLO® build zone, young racers can make their way through the garage to the racetrack to build, test, and digitally scan their own LEGO Ferrari onto the interactive racetrack.

If that wasn’t enough, guests can add to their collection of snaps with a LEGO F1 car by getting a picture with the life-size imitation of a LEGO Ferrari Daytona.
