LONDON, UK, November 2025: Singer, song writer and self-confessed LEGO fan Lewis Capaldi has joined forces with the LEGO Group to celebrate the magic and nostalgia of the festive season. Visiting the LEGO Chalet of Play in London’s Covent Garden, Lewis took a walk down memory lane, reminiscing on his favourite LEGO memories whilst building some of the brand’s newer sets.
In an exclusive video series filmed at the Chalet of Play, Lewis talks about his earliest LEGO builds with his brother, how building helps to keep his mind calm when touring, and showcased a brick-built model of his latest album artwork, Survive.
Lewis commented: “Having LEGO around helps take my mind off stuff, I’m so focused on putting it all together that I’m able to put other stuff that’s going on to the back of my mind. There’s also a nice nostalgia tied into it, it’s a lovely feeling.”
In a show-stopping festive reveal, Lewis was gifted the ultimate Christmas present- a life-sized LEGO brick-built version of himself – crafted from over 41,000 LEGO bricks and taking 207 hours to complete. The jaw-dropping sculpture, a perfect blend of art and play, left Lewis grinning from ear to ear.
Kuran Sharma, Head of Marketing at the LEGO Group commented: “We loved taking Lewis on a trip down memory lane through LEGO sets and hearing about his cherished memories of the LEGO brand. The Holiday season is the perfect time to rediscover the joy of play, no matter what age. That’s what the LEGO Chalet of Play is all about – spreading joy through building your favourite LEGO sets, or even channeling your creative imagination through free building.”
