It’s officially a new year and that means brand new LEGO sets to get stuck into, for LEGO Insiders members that also means early access to two of the years most anticipated sets!

First up is the LEGO Icons Shopping Street (11371), the latest Modular Buildings Collection set. The new building sees two shops combined into one set. On one side there is a Music Shop and opposite is a Furniture Store, with a small alleywaybetween them. Both will sit comfortably on a standard 32×32 base plate and will comprise of  3,456 pieces. It will retail for $249.99 / €249.99 / £229.99, which is quite reasonable in today’s world of high LEGO prices. Included are a plethora of accessories, details and more to catch your eye, complete with a total of seven Minifigure characters – two kids with an snacks, a female with a walking crutch, music store owner, furniture store owner, female with red hair, and maintenance worker with a red helmet and tools. A nice added touch are the included pigeons, cat and rat animal figures.

The tie-in gift with purchase set, LEGO Icons Vintage Parade Car (40913), is free to those that buy the set, or spend over £180/$200/€200.

The next big release for LEGO Insiders members this month is the LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House (11370). This it one I personally couldn’t wait for and stayed up until midnight to secure. The set is based on the Creel House from the hit Netflix TV show Stranger Things. It comprises of 2,593 pieces and can be pulled apart to reveal Vecna‘s ‘Mind Lair‘ and the iconic grandfather clock. Transforming from a seemly ordinary house to one that has been ripped apart.

If you are lucky enough to have ordered it or went to your local LEGO store, you should also of have got the tie-in gift with purchase, WSQK Radio Station (40891).
