It seems the creative platform known as LEGO Ideas has hit the big time and gone viral on TikTok!
Over the past several days, a number of fan submissions have achieved the required 10,000 votes that see them through to the next round. Thanks to users and influencers on TikTok, urging fans to vote for certain entries and it spiraled from there, we believe it started with Pusheen the Cat. The total number of ideas in the running for the current period is 85 and counting. This is well beyond the average which is usually around the 50/60 mark.
We’ll keep you updated if the trend continues, but we expect it to fizzle out just as fast as it started. Once the current LEGO Ideas period ends we’ll share the final list of fan designs that made it through.
