The LEGO Crocs released today, and before you could say “what the hell are those…” they had completely sold out, worldwide!
At first glance, who am I kidding, at every glance, the totally ugly and unnecessary shoes received mostly negative reviews, even from LAN (LEGO Ambassador Network) members. But it seems both the LEGO Group and Crocs knew exactly what they were doing and the oversized and impractical shoe sold out rather quickly from both LEGO.com and Crocs.com.
The equally as stupid price of £149.99/$149.99/€149.99 obviously didn’t deter fans as, at the time of writing this they are sold out everywhere, with no signs of them returning, yet. We have no idea how many the retail giants had in stock but whatever the number was it must have made them a small fortune.
