Warner Bros. Games has released a brand new featurette video that goes behind the scenes of the upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game!

In the video we see James Gunn and Jim Lee, discuss the legacy of the character and how the new game celebrates it. The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game was announced earlier this year and is TT Games’ first LEGO title since 2022. It will follow Batman’s story from TV, films, comics and games. The LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game will launch on all major platforms in 2026, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

DC and Warner Bros. Games today debuted a new LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight behind-the-scenes video in celebration of Batman Day 2025, the annual tradition commemorating one of the most iconic characters in the world, DC’s Batman.

The new featurette includes a fresh look at gameplay for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, along with commentary from James Gunn (Co-Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, DC Studios), Jim Lee (President, Publisher & Chief Creative Officer, DC), Jonathan Smith (Strategic Director & Head of Development Team, TT Games), Jesper C. Nielsen (Creative Lead, The LEGO Group), and other development team members, who all expand on how the 86-year history of Batman films, television shows, comics, and games has been brought together with TT Games’ signature LEGO humor in the upcoming interactive videogame experience.

Additionally, players can unlock the Golden Age Batsuit at launch, a classic outfit based on the Caped Crusader’s debut look from Detective Comics #27 (1939), accessible for eligible users who create a WB Games account, as well as those who already have an account.
