LEGO have officially announced the next 18+ set to be added to their growing Adult/AFOL range…

LEGO Nintendo NES – 71374

For some this has been a long time coming but LEGO have finally filled that void. We can recreate our childhood memories with one of the very first consoles that most of us had when we were younger!

A release date has also been revealed and it’s not too long to wait – 1st August.

The set has quite an impressive part count too at 2,646! In addition to the NES, we also get to build a rather smart looking and very retro tube TV with antenna.

The set also includes a NES controller and the Super Mario game game cartridge.

RRP in this country is £209.99.

Abother notable detail is a working bay to insert the brick-built game cartridge into, it also has a locking mechanism, I wonder if it’ll have that very satisfying ‘spring-loaded’ sound to it?!

No batteries are needed, but you will have to shell-out for the LEGO 71360 Super Mario starter set to activate the sounds of the TV.

Take a look at the official images and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
