The hugely popular Netflix original film, Kpop Demon Hunters, is rumoured to become a range of LEGO sets!

The LEGO Group and Netflix have had a long running partnership, if rumours are true it is stated to continue next year and beyond with a line of KPop Demon Hunters sets. Reddit user BrickTap has posted details surrounding the potential theme, although rather thin on the ground, it’s claimed to be coming in the near future.

If you are unfamiliar with the hit Netflix movie from which these are inspired, it follows K-Pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey – when they aren’t selling out stadiums or topping the Billboard charts, they’re moonlighting as demon hunters to protect their fans from ever-present supernatural danger. They must sing to ensure the demons can’t break through into their world and wreck havoc, but things change when they face off against a rival boy band, the Saja Boys, whose members are secretly demons.

Minifigures from Minifigs.me, not official LEGO ones

The movie has taken the world by storm and gone viral for many reasons, the music is great, the story is good and the animation is top notch. Minifigs.me were quick to design, print and release custom Minifigures of the three main characters.

LEGO fans have also been busy submitting designs to the Ideas platform. Included are sets based on the three main characters, Derpy Tiger & Three-Eyed Magpie, the Saja Boys and locations from the film. We’ve features many here on The Brick Post over the last few months and they have all proven popular – fans want LEGO KPop Demon Hunters!

Please take this rumour with a pinch of salt, while other products already exist, LEGO has yet to confirm or deny the claims. Watch this space for official news if/when it drops.
