The BrickBoy Kickstarter has surpassed a huge milestone, supporters have pledged over €500,000!

Due to the it’s popularity, the team have extended the Kickstarter until 2nd December and introduced a ton of new and exciting items, goals and updates, including;

  • Bluetooth controller support added to all Gamer and Collector Kits
  • Arcade Edition revealed
  • Bluetooth controller add-on available
  • Triple Play Pack released
  • Mystery Game winners announced
  • AMA survey coming tomorrow
  • Campaign extended to December 2nd

The Arcade edition is perhaps the most exciting as it was designed exclusively for BrickBoy by LEGO Ideas winner Lego7. The expansion transforms your BrickBoy into a living-room arcade console with a ton of cool features, such as a full LEGO alternative MOC, HDMI output, upgraded CPU performance, local multi-player, Expo Mode and a printed instruction booklet. The MOC is simply an extra add-on for those who want it, already available on Kickstarter.

There is also an upgrade for all Gamer and Collector editions, with built-in Bluetooth controller support out of the box. This was a much requested feature by supporters and now it’s part of the core experience. For those that don’t have a Bluetooth Controller at home, there is also as add-on you can grab when pledging. This includes one Bluetooth controller, a buildable controller stand, and a customisable printed tile.

See it all in action below in the Arcade edition launch video. If you’re interested in backing the campaign and securing yours for when it officially launches, click here and make a pledge.
