Official details:
There’s a new Winter Village LEGO set rolling into town and that means the festive season is officially underway! Issue 133 of Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, is packed with exclusive interviews, inspiring builds and seasonal creativity to spark your holiday building mood.
Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, is launching Issue 133, a special issue focused on the new holiday sets for 2025. This new edition is available to order now (it makes for a great stocking filler) as a single issue or as part of a great value subscription package. There’s even a deal with a special poster if you act quickly.
Everyone who subscribes in print before December 4 will be in with a chance of winning the joyful 10361 Holiday Express Train and the enormous 75419 Death Star.
At the heart of the issue are two very special LEGO sets that capture the magic of Christmas. Model Designer Jae Won Lee talks us through the design journey of 10361 Holiday Express Train, revealing how this year’s Winter Village centrepiece connects back to another set in the series. Then, Design Manager Samuel Liltorp Johnson shares the story behind the 41843 Family Christmas Tree Decoration, the largest LEGO holiday-themed model ever produced. Between them, these interviews offer a rare insight into how LEGO designers capture the warmth and nostalgia of the season in brick form.
If you’re trying to decide which festive sets to add to your own display, Blocks also reviews the latest 2025 Christmas sets, helping you find the perfect builds to decorate this winter.
But even if you prefer festivus, there’s plenty of non-holiday content in this issue. Model Designer Chi Wing Lee sits down for a Build & Chat feature that explores his route into the LEGO Group and his creative work on NINJAGO. Meanwhile, the Rogue Bricks team present a spectacular collaborative layout set in samurai-era Japan, with callouts on specific techniques that you can use in your own creations.
Elsewhere in the 116-page magazine, you’ll find exclusive build instructions for a mini version of 72046 Game Boy, an interview with LEGO Masters Jr. contestant Will Tachick, expert reviews of ONE PIECE sets, and a whole lot more to inspire your hobby and enhance your fandom.
Blocks, the monthly LEGO magazine, is available to order worldwide – either as a single issue or through a money-saving subscription.
