We’re back with another awesome alternative set build, this time transforming the LEGO Sherlock Holmes Book Nook (10351) into a modular building for your City!

The talented designer, BrickAtive, has been featured before with their very cool alternative build of the LEGO Alpine Lodge (10325). This time a book nook has been given the alt-build treatment and changed into a modular style building perfect for an olde-style addition to any fans City lineup. BrickAtive has done a great job in creating yet another attractive design, using the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook (10351) set and 488 extra pieces.

The alternative design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which costs a very reasonable $12, along with a parts list needed to build this yourself. At the end you’ll have an attractive looking modular building, complete with interior elements and and more. It fits on a 16×32 sized plate and is essentially a corner building, a great gap-filler at the end of a Street or City.

The original LEGO Sherlock Holmes Book Nook (10351) set will cost you £109.99. You’ll need to source and purchase the extra parts yourself which will obviously bump the overall cost up. But at the end of it you’ll have a unique modular building based on the infamous Sherlock Holmes. The PDF instructions can be purchased and downloaded direct from the Rebrickable page.
