Today we have something a little different, it isn’t a MOC, it’s a modification, that takes a happy-go-lucky plant and turns it into a weed killing tough-mudda!

The LEGO Botanicals Happy Plants (10349) set was a surprise to everyone, it came out of nowhere and captured the hearts of fans the world over. Consisting of just over 200 pieces and retailing for £17.99, the set was a sure fire hit, selling out on LEGO.com when it dropped a couple of months ago. As mentioned before the set is very sweet & cutesy looking, with dumpy flowerpots with smiles on theirs faces and little green plants growing from them. So when perusing Rebrickable for Mods and MOCs to share, I stumbled across the ultimate addition to transform your Happy Plants into Mech, complete with rifle.

As soon as I saw the 10439 Happy Plants set, I knew I had to modify them a bit. This modification adds articulated arms and legs to a fun, cute character, and gives him a bit of an edge by arming him with an assault rifle.

It’s creator, Peethor, has transformed this innocent set into a garden warrior, protecting fellow plants from weeds and other enemies. Using mostly grey parts, not included in the original set, they have given the small Plant Pot mech as and legs, oh and an awesome looking brick-built rifle.

Thanks to Rebrickable’s ‘add to wishlist‘ and ‘buy these parts‘ features, it makes acquiring the needed pieces a breeze, it even gives you a total costing. You may also have these parts in your collection or spares box. To make things even tastier, the instructions are free to download direct from the a Rebrickable page.

For those looking to mechanise their Happy Plant, instructions are available now via Rebrickable. Please follow, like and comment on the creators post to show your support, Thank you.
