Another LEGO Ideas submission has made it through to the next review stage, this one captures the Medieval aesthetic perfectly in a modular style build!
The Modular Medieval Corner Inn by Brick_Scribe is the most recent design to hit the required 10,000 supporters mark. It joins other submissions which make up the next Review Stage. Fans could see the idea come to life if the project is chosen by the powers that be.
The build recreates a fantastical middle ages building, with the traditional wooden beams, thatched roof and tall chimneys. It’s the perfect place to stumble across and stay the night when on a long journey, folk tell tales and spill secrets over warm tea as mysteries flicker in the candlelight. Songs of adventure are sung onstage to the clink of mugs, and prophecies are foretold through a crystal ball.
I designed it as a love letter to the fantasy adventure genre which has always been at the heart of my imagination. – Brick_Scribe

Brick_Scribe has done a wonderful job in capturing the medieval-style most LEGO fans know and love. The building techniques used look interesting yet fun, with the modular sections peaking my personal interest more, leaving it open for possible future expansion. Being a big fan of Minifigures, the ones here look like a right ramble of characters full of stories and adventure – included are a Wizard, Artist, Musician, Fortune Teller, Knight, and Innkeeper.
Unfortunately reaching the goal doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next year – we wish Brick_Scribe the best of luck in the next stage.
