The latest LEGO Ideas fan submitted design to make it to 10k supporters is based on a TV show from 2004, the hugely popular Lost!
The project was submitted by J_hrvt and is the most recent submission to hit the required 10,000 supporters mark. It joins other submissions which make up the next Review Stage. Fans could see the idea come to life if the project is chosen by the powers that be.
When it was originally submitted the project celebrated the 20th anniversary of the show. It features a diorama showing a section of the island with the Hatch and Beechcraft. In the background, there is also the Black Smoke, the cloud that was The Man in Black. The project consists of approximately 1,200 pieces and includes 7 Minifigures.
I was primarily focused on creating some of the most essential scenes from the beginning of the series in a diorama format. Seeing these scenes at the early stages of the series played a big part in getting us hooked, and we were already hungry to see and wait for more.
Unfortunately reaching the goal doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next year – we wish J_hrvt the best of luck in the next stage.
