Strangers Things is all the rage at the moment, with the final fifth season currently on telly. The Brick Post household are big fans of the show so when I spot anything related to it in LEGO form, I just have to share it. Whilst perusing Rebrickable for MOCs, I came across a bundle of vehicles designed and made by NV Carmocs. These feature three of the coolest cars seen in modern TV, Jim Hopper’s K5 Blazer, Steve Harrington’s BMW 733i, Billy Hargrove’s Camaro!
Rebrickable is the go to place for anything LEGO related, you’ll find MOCs, Alternative Builds, and so much more – we especially like the alt builds section as it gives you suggestions for other cool things to build out of the sets you already have. All the listing’s you see within these categories are designed and built by awesome and talented people. Often the instructions are available to purchase, but some creators list them for free.

Not being a car fanatic I can’t comment on anything technical, but I sure can when it comes to the LEGO side of things. The three vehicles look absolutely insane and just like their on-screen counterparts, I especially like the colour of parts used as it makes them look even sexier.
We have had Hopper’s truck before, in the very first LEGO Stranger Things Upside Down set, but this one here looks a little more polished and screen accurate. Keeping the white roof and tan coloured sections it really does pop, the police lights on top, the dual windscreens and the Printed police tile along each side are the cherry in the cake and pull it all together.

Steve’s BMW 733i looks like a sweet ride and seen many times throughout the show, in the latest season it is slightly modified, but we won’t go into that if you haven’t seen it yet. You can instantly see that it’s a BMW as the two squares on the front grille are spot-on, the slope leading from the roof to the back of vehicle, the blocky look of the 80s and the sheer retro-ness is oozes – perfection.
If LEGO are short of Speed Champions ideas, then look no further, these three cars would be extremely well received. They are 8 studs wide too, making them perfect for the series and for Cities, I’d love to have these driving around Gregsville (my City).

Now we come to Billy’s beast of a car, the Camaro. Perhaps the best looking car in the whole show, followed closely by Argyle’s Surfer Boy Pizza of course. This dark blue take on the classic Camaro looks beautiful and would be my dream ride if I could drive. With the sexy front grille, the curvy chassis and the subtle spoiler at the back, it’s a real scene stealer.
Again being 8 studs wide it’s perfect ad will slide into displays effortlessly. NV Carmocs has done an amazing job it recreating these now iconic vehicles from Stranger Things, to the point where I actually want to source the parts and build them myself!

As mentioned above, Rebrickable hosts the instructions for all three of these builds, either as a bundle or individually. For just €12, plus however much the parts cost you, you’ll have three unique and totally awesome builds.
