The latest fan submitted design to make it into the LEGO Ideas Third 2025 Review Stage, which runs until 5th January 2026, celebrates the iconic Converse sneaker!
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star project was submitted by ComicMischief and has made the required 10,000 supporters. It joins three other submissions which make up the next Review Stage. Fans could see the idea come to life if the project is chosen by the powers that be.
The original design was created in 1922, but the shoe underwent several changes in its lifetime. The sneaker became extremely popular as a basketball shoe in the 1960s before making the transition to a casual footwear essential in the 1980s and beyond. Even now in 2024, the Chuck Taylor All Star is seen wherever you go because of its versatility and classic retro style. – ComicMischief
Thisbwoht be the first sneaker to be made by LEGO, following suit from Nike and Adidas. The awesome and very well recreated Converse Chuck Taylor All Star looks great and being a big fan of the brand and shoe, I’d love if LEGO chose and produce this idea, it would look so cool on display.
Reaching the goal unfortunately doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets were lucky enough to make it sometime next year – Watch this space for all your LEGO & Brick news!
Check out the images below and share your thoughts in the comments section. Would you like to see this set made and would you purchase it?
