The list of LEGO Ideas submissions that have made it through to the next review stage keeps growing, with the latest one inspired by Kpop Demon Hunters!
The legend that is TrumanBricks is back with yet another idea in the running to become a future LEGO Ideas set. The fan designer behind the Vincent Van Gogh Starry Night set and the upcoming Power Rangers Megazord set, has another project in the running. The Kpop Demon Hunters are extremely popular at the moment, and for good reason, the Netflix exclusive movie has a massive fan base and this idea making it through proves that. It’s the most recent design to hit the required 10,000 supporters mark. It joins other submissions which make up the next Review Stage. Fans could see the idea come to life if the project is chosen by the powers that be.
The build features the stage area where the three Demon Hunters sing, there are 1×1 yellow studs that represent the crowd and the word ‘Golden‘ on the backdrop is made up of tiles. The most important aspect of this idea are the Minifigures themselves, as Mira, Rumi and Zoey are included, along with their weapons. They look just like their on-screen counterparts, having official LEGO Minifigures would be epic.
I designed it as a love letter to the fantasy adventure genre which has always been at the heart of my imagination. – Brick_Scribe
TrumanBricks has done a wonderful job in capturing the characters, stage area, and the Tiger & Three-Eyed Magpie, fans would love to get their hands on this set if it were real. Unfortunately reaching the goal doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next year – we wish TrumanBricks the best of luck in the next stage.
