We’re back with another awesome alternative set build, this time transforming two LEGO Haunted House (31167) sets into a Haunted Tavern!
The talented designer has been featured before with their very cool alternative build of the LEGO Alpine Lodge (10325). This time the LEGO 3-in-1 Haunted House (31167) has been given the alt-build treatment and changed into a modular style building perfect for a spooky addition to any fans City lineup. BrickAtive has done a great job in creating yet another attractive design, using just two sets and 186 extra pieces.
The alternative design can be found on his Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which costs a very reasonable $10, along with a parts list needed to build this yourself. At the end you’ll have a spooky looking but cool Haunted Tavern, complete with seating inside & out, along with many details including a bar, cups spooky ornaments and so much more. It fits on a 16×32 sized plate and is a corner building made-up of two modules, just like a modular building.
The original LEGO 3-in-1 Haunted House (31167) set will cost you £79.99, as two is needed for this particular build, making the total cost around £160, slightly more when you factor in the extra parts needed. This isn’t a bad thing, as the final alternative build looks fantastic and slots into displays and Cityscapes effortlessly.
To make one for yourself you’ll obviously need two of the aforementioned LEGO 3-in-1 Haunted House (31167) set and the extra 186 pieces, along with the PDF instructions. You can purchase and download these direct from the Rebrickable page.
