You’ve seen Prune This, a warrior mech modification to the LEGO Happy Plants (10349) set, well Peethor is back with a fitting mod for the larger blue potted plants – Garden Guardian is here!
The LEGO Botanicals Happy Plants (10349) set was a surprise to everyone, it came out of nowhere and captured the hearts of fans the world over. Consisting of just over 200 pieces and retailing for £17.99, the set was a sure fire hit, selling out on LEGO.com when it dropped a few months ago. As mentioned before the set is very sweet & cutesy looking, with dumpy flowerpots with smiles on their faces and little green plants growing from them. So when perusing Rebrickable for Mods and MOCs to share, I stumbled across the ultimate addition to transform your Happy Plants into Mech, complete with a shield & sword.

After modifying the yellow planter, I felt the blue guy needed some love. Giving him the same arms and weapon felt derivative, so I made him some new gear. This modification adds articulated arms and legs to a fun, cute character, and gives him a bit of an edge by arming him with a sword and shield.
Thanks to Rebrickable’s ‘add to wishlist‘ and ‘buy these parts‘ features, it makes acquiring the needed pieces a breeze, it even gives you a total costing.
