We’re back with another awesome alternative set build, this time giving the dusty Sand Crawler from Star Wars a Gingerbread makeover!

The talented designer, TacoTaco64, has taken the recently released and still on backorder LEGO Gingerbread AT-AT Walker (40806) and converted it into a Sand Crawler, complete with Candy Case exhausts. The creator has done a great job in recreating the iconic shape using only parts available in the original set. From the angled cockpit and bodywork, to the flap at the front, the Gingerbread coloured body and white icing trim looks oddly at home here along with the festive bunting. It joins the handful of other Star Wars vehicles reimagined in Gingerbread form that we’ve shared over the last few weeks.

This is my very first alternate of Legos new gingerbread AT-AT. I decided to go with a sand crawler since it is a similar shape to an AT-AT and the wedge pieces included in the set made it easy to capture the shape. – TacoTaco64

The alternative design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which cost just $5. The original LEGO Star Wars Gingerbread AT-AT Walker (40806) set will cost you £54.99, a great price for a great set, if you can get your hands on it of course. Please follow, like and comment on the creators post to show your support, Thank you. Happy Building!
