We’re back with another awesome alternative set build, this time MIJbricks transformed a Cosy House to a busy Blacksmith!
The talented designer MIJbricks, has taken an existing set, LEGO Creator Cozy House (31139), and converted it into a great looking Blacksmiths build, complete with workshop, anvil, millstone, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, and so much more. MIJbricks has done a great job in recreating a traditional style Blacksmith’s building with a slanted roof, outside steps, and wooden architectural accents.
MIJbricks was inspired by the LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith (21325) set from 2021, you can clearly see which design elementsade the cut just by looking at the shape. This smaller but equally as awesome Medieval Blacksmith build can be constructed using only the pieces from the Cozy House set. It features a 3 floor Medieval house, with an open back to access the interior. The ground floor consists of the Blacksmith workshop with the anvil and working millstone. Above is the kitchen and dining room. The top floor consists of the bedroom. The exterior is very detailed; on the right of the build there is a small market, and on the left, some stairs to access above.

love the way this MOC turned out, especially the technique used with the angled fence pieces used on the third floor to give it that Tudor look. Enjoy! If you like this MOC, be sure to check out my profile for more! – MIJbricks
The alternative design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which cost just $3, a very appealing and affordable price, and at the end you’ll have a great looking Blacksmith’s Workshop made of LEGO.
The original LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Cozy House (31139) set has been retired for quite some time but you can search the secondary market and often grab the set below it’s original RRP (which was £54.99).
