It has been awhile since we last updated you on which sets have qualified for the next LEGO Ideas review stage, so here is one of the fan submitted designs to make it through, Edward Scissorhands Castle by Delusion Brick!
The design is the most recent submission to hit the required 10,000 supporters mark. It joins other submissions which make up the next Review Stage. Fans could see the idea come to life if the project is chosen by the powers that be.
The build is based on the iconic and cult classic Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands. The 1990 movie follows Edward, a synthetic man with scissor hands, that is taken in by Peg, a kind Avon lady, after the passing of his inventor. Things take a turn for the worse when he is blamed for a crime he did not commit. I’m sure you’ve seen the movie if you are here reading this, unless you stumbled across this page of course.

This LEGO set is a tribute to a timeless story, blending creativity, heart, and the beauty of being unique. Delusion Brick
Delusion Brick has done a wonderful job in recreating the gothic-style and rather eerie looking Castle, from the start of the movie. You can see Edward mopping in the darkness whilst his creator is downstairs working on a new inverting. The workshop is filled with creative details, including a cookie-making machine, scattered robot parts, and Edward’s unfinished Christmas gift.
Unfortunately reaching the goal doesn’t guarantee it’ll be made into a real-life LEGO set, but there is hope for fans as the LEGO Ideas team will debate on and choose which sets will be lucky enough to make it through sometime next year – we wish Delusion Brick the best of luck in the next stage.
