When it comes to modulars LEGO has it locked down, with many under their belt they certainly know what thy are doing. Today’s alternative build is more of a MOC, it’s based on a set released earlier in the year that wasn’t very popular, the LEGO Icons French Café (10362).
BrickAtive has taken it to the next level and expended upon it, designing a whole modular building that not only answers the question of how the facade would look are a fully fledged City building but also looks absolutely amazing. The base set is constructed in a completely different way to the original, preserving the shape and colour scheme. I personally love the look of this and will have a go at building it one day, the shape, architecture style, colour scheme and the overall grandeur of it is perfection.

Due to its irregular layout and the multitude of ornaments and details, the building consists of a very large number of pieces.
The large number of Lego pieces also stems from my emphasis on ensuring the structure is durable and stable. Brickative
The alternative/MOC design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which cost just $21, a very appealing price when you consider the skill and work gone into it, and at the end you’ll have a great looking and unique LEGO modular.
The original LEGO Icons French Café (10362) set retails at £69.99, which has to be factored into the over cost of the alternative build/MOC. Please follow, like and comment on the creators post to show your support, Thank you. Happy Building!
