We’re off to a Galaxy Far, Far Away, as FarawayBricks is back with a midi version of The Mandalorian And Grogu‘s ship, Razor Quest II!
The talented designer, FarawayBricks, has designed and built a MOC (my own creation) of a Star Wars ship in a smaller scale. If you are a fan of The Mandalorian then you’ll love this, it’s the Razor Quest II from the upcoming movie based on the loveable but deadly duo, The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Comprising of 448 pieces, the MOC looks just like it’s on-screen counterpart, with the grey chassis and yellow accents. It features a ton of details packed into the midi-scale build, such as an opening canopy, weapons cabinet, removable roof for interior access, 3 removable landing skids, seating for Mando and Grogu and an opening rear boarding ramp.

There looks to be some great building techniques used throughout and with just a handful of bare studs showing it looks smooth and polished. I particularly like the front mounted guns and the engines either side, they look great, the yellow accents are well implemented too and fit flush with the rest of the ship. It also suits well with the two Minifigures, Mando & Grogu, being midi-scale it doesn’t look out of place and would fit into fans displays effortlessly.
The design can be found on the creators Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the PDF instructions which cost just $4, a bargain at that price. You’ll need to source the parts yourself, but thanks to Rebrickable‘s built-in part finder it’s easy and straightforward.
