We’re back with another awesome alternative set build by CreationCaravan (Brad Barber) – this time taking the LEGO Bonsai Tree and turning it into the Great Deku Tree from Zelda!
The talented designer, CreationCaravan (Brad Barber), has taken the innocent looking LEGO Bonsai Tree (10281) set, released at the start of 2021, and transformed it into the Great Deku Tree. For those that don’t know, The Great Deku Tree, also referred to as the Great Deku Tree or Deku Tree, is a massive living tree that is the fatherly guardian of the forest who safeguards not only the dense land around him, but the small population of beings that live in his shadow. As soon as the game starts, the Ocarina Of Time, a short cutscene plays, in which the Great Deku Tree talks briefly about the forest children, known as the Kokiri, and explains his role in things. He then mentions the lone boy in the village who does not have a fairy, Link.
LEGO has already produced a set from the game depicting Deku Tree, but this will set you back an eye-watering £259.99. The LEGO Bonsai Tree (10281) however comes in at just £44.99, making for an affordable option for fans to build, a smaller, Deku Tree.

This is an alternate build of the Bonsai Tree and needs only pieces included in one 10281 set to build.
NO extra pieces are needed.
The tree is sturdy and features a mini details of the Great Deku dungeon inside. – CreationCaravan
For the size of the set and the pieces available, CreationCaravan has done a wonderful job in building this alternative idea. The base is present to allow it to stand tall, the dark brown trunk looks detailed, the tree top is a little sparse but this can be added to if desired, and there is even a bit of the dungeon interior showing.
The alternative design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which cost just $5. The original LEGO Botanicals Bonsai Tree (10281) set will cost you £44.99, a great price for a great set. Please follow, like and comment on the creators post to show your support, Thank you.
