We’re back with a very festive, and gingery, alternative set build, with Legomegaman‘s bigger and cosier Gingerbread House!
The talented designer Legomegaman , has taken two LEGO Festive Gingerbread House (40809) sets and combined them to great effect. I always find fascinating how people can reimagine existing sets into something new, this one is great and looks super festive. With candy cane supports, colourful windows, a bay-window, snow-topped roof snd more, it’s the ultimate alt build perfect for a LEGO Winter display.
Using approximately 91% of the parts from two of the aforementioned set, you’ll have a few pieces left over so something else. It features a fully enclosed building that screams festive character, I particularly like the sloped roof with the red & white accents running along each edge.

To enhance the festive atmosphere, this model pairs perfectly with the official Set 40746. The Christmas tree from that set provides the ideal finishing touch for holiday displays.
Complete with two floors, Legomegaman has crammed in a lot, included on the first floor is a hanging display area, Santa’s dessert dining corner, and a hinged back wall provides easy access for play and display. On the second floor you’ll find, Santa’s workshop, Santa’s bedroom, and both roof sections can open outward, offering a smooth and convenient building and play experience.
The alternative design can be found on their Rebrickable account, where you’ll also find the instructions which cost just $8, a very appealing and affordable price, and at the end you’ll have a great looking snd biggerp Gingerbread House made of LEGO.
The original LEGO Festive Gingerbread House (40809) set will cost you £34.99, don’t forget you’ll need two to make this alternative build. Please follow, like and comment on the creators post to show your support, Thank you. Happy Building!
