The LEGO Speed Champions theme is a popular one with fans, with many sets to choose from and covering a wide variety of sports, models and even movie cars. The latest set to be revealed is based on one of cinemas greatest and most iconic cars, the Delorean from Back to the Future!
Pre-orders are open now for the time travelling car and from the response on our related Instagram post, it seems hugely popular and may sell out soon. LEGO do have enough time to manufacture more as the set isn’t out until 1st January 2026. Previous movie car inspired sets include James Bond‘s Aston Martin DB5, the Nissan Skyline, Dodge Charger R/T and Honda S2000 from Fast & Furious, and the upcoming Lightning McQueen car.
There are a ton of other cars that could be given the LEGO Speed Champions treatment, from classic films to modern day ones, the possibilities are almost endless. Being a movie car fan, from the likes of the Delorean, Herbie, KITT and others, the choices are easy, but what movie or TV show cars would you like to see LEGO produce?
