Minifigure Monday – Mecha Team Leader Is Here!

It’s a new week which means a new Minifigure Monday, our chance to showcase a random Minifigure chosen by myself and partner in crime Mark from @the.brickloft. Today we have a real treat for you, Mecha Team Leader from Fortnite!

The unique and rare Minifigure has only appeared in one LEGO set, the LEGO Fortnite Mecha Team Leader (77078), which released August 2025. The set is still available but comes with a hefty price tag of $249.99/£209.99/€229.99. Mecha Team Leader was originally an Epic outfit in the video game Fortnite, that can be purchased in the Item Shop for 1,600 V-Bucks. If you purchase the LEGO set you know only get the Minifigure, you also get access to the in-game skins, of both Mecha Team Leader and the Metal variant.

Thanks to the LEGO Fortnite line of sets we have been graced with quite a few Minifigures based on characters found within the game, but the Mecha Team Leader will also be the most sought-after and rarest of the bunch, due to it being bundled in a high-priced playset set. We are currently building the almost 2 foot tall Mech, and I must say it is going to look epic standing in my Son’s collection, amongst the other LEGO Fortnite sets – Supply Llama, Klombo and others.

The Minifigure itself has all over body printed, even the arms! The brightly coloured design is in homage to all the different components that make up the Mech. The headpiece is a new and unique mould, the stickered sign accessory is a nice addition too.
