When a new Minifigure is revealed, LEGO usually do a great job, followed by custom print companies, but there are some cases where the opposite happens. With the announcement of the upcoming LEGO Icons Stranger Things The Creel House (11370) set, we took one look at Vecna and thought ‘nah mate‘, why is he red and bug-eyed?

We jumped onto Google, other search engines are available, and searched for alternatives, three presented themselves. Two are ‘official‘ physical Minifigures which you can purchase and one digital (Fortnite) – but which one does Vecna justice? Continue reading for a better look at each one.

We’ll kick the proceedings off with the official LEGO release, which is due to drop 1st January 2026. Amongst the many Minifigures in the upcoming The Creel House (11370) set, Vecna is there in all his red, viney, glory. The set itself looks absolutely amazing, with the pull-apart play feature and the other 12 Minifigures. But as we said before, Vecna is a little lacklustre. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great addition to the set overall, but LEGO were obviously shown an early image of Vecna from Season 5 when the red light was on him, so ran with that and made Vecna a garish red.

Moving onto a custom printing company now, one we use constantly, Minifigs.me. We actually have this version of Vecna in our collection and it looks better in person than it does on a screen, and it looks great on screen. This version is based on the one seen in Season 4, when we first see Vecna. Although he’s not massively grey, Minifigs.me went with a dark grey LEGO Minifigure base and printed his face and many vines onto it, making it more realistic in terms of a Minifigure.

The printing is detailed and the vines look great paired with the dark grey underneath, his facial expression is serious and definitely has the straight, scary, face of Vecna.

Next up we have FireStar Toys, a company we’ve used only a couple of times for the odd piece here & there. We find their custom Minifigures are top notch but double/triple the cost of other places. If money is no object than give these guys a go, we would if given the chance. Anyway, back to Vecna, their rendition of him is great and highly detailed, it even has a larger left hand!

Printed onto genuine LEGO parts, this one has a tan coloured base and incredible detail, the blue glaze eyes sunken into the head is a cool combination. The lines and shading really add to the overall look, Vecna looks truly gruesome.

The last in the running for ‘who did Vecna best‘ is a digital version, only available in the hugely popular Fortnite video game. This one is also on my collection of skins and is my current goto player model. I was surprised LEGO allowed it in Fortnite as its technically a very mature subject, I guess having the license helps.

The thing I like about this Minifigure interpretation are the deeply sunken white eyes and dark nougat base, it blends all three of the Minifigures above into one – if this was a physical Minifigure it would be my first choice for the ultimate Vecna.

There are of course other Minifigures available but they tend to be fakes, ones not even worth mentioning, we don’t do fakes here at The Bricks Post. From the four above, we’d like to know which one is your ultimate Vecna, and who did it best. Leave your thoughts in the comments section below. We personally would love them all, and once the official LEGO Icons Stranger Things The Creel House (11370) set becomes available 1st January 2026, we’ll be jumping online and placing our order, we can’t wait – we’ll also be grabbing the new LEGO Stranger Things BrickHeadz too.

As we affiliate with Minifigs.me, we have a special link the automatically discounts yours basket by 10%, if you wish to purchase that particular Vecna please use our link and help support us and what we do here – thank you.
