LEGO have two gaming Consoles under their belt already, along with countless game-themed sets. But with the current LEGO SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Controller (40769) gift with purchase on offer, what other Controllers could and should LEGO make?
Over the years we’ve had the LEGO Nintendo NES and the LEGO Atari, both awesome sets and both feature the consoles controller. The Video Games industry is massive and entertains millions around the World on a daily basis, myself included. There are loads of iconic controllers out there that would look especially good in brick-built form. There are many to choose from but off the top of my head the original Playstation controller would be top of the list for me, followed by the N64 and GameCube controllers. Which one would you like to see as either a standalone set or a future gift with purchase? Leave your thoughts and comments below.
There are many projects on the LEGO Ideas platform that if make it through the rigorous process, could offer up several more controllers for us to build and enjoy. One of which we shared not long ago, Sony PlayStation by MoniBricks. One day a Playstation console will be made by LEGO, until then we can only dream.
