Are you a dog lover? Aranobilis98 has you covered with their amazing alternative LEGO build of a Corgi Dog!

Whilst perusing Rebrickable, the world’s largest marketplace for MOCs, Alternative Builds and more, I stumbled upon a cute Corgi build that would be prefect for a dog lovers and owners of the breed. The talented designer, Aranobilis98, has taken the recent LEGO Orange Cat (21376) set and transformed it into an entirely different species of animal.

The Corgi Dog alternative build uses parts found in the aforementioned set, and nothing more, no spare pieces or extra bits are required. The model captures the the cute and playful expression of the dog and it’s diminutive stature. The build features a rotating head, opening mouth, movable ears and tail. The is also a hatch on the back that stores a piece of poop and a fold out missile turret. That’s right, this pooch is locked & loaded!

The final build measures around 35cm (14in) long from nose to tail, 16cm (6.5in) wide and, 23cm (9in) tall to the top of the ear. The build is as solid as the original Orange Cat and uses legal techniques. The build process is like that of original build though some more attention is needed since you aren’t building this bag by bag, it uses 1,674 out of the 1,755 parts in the set.

The designer has done an incredible job with the build and would be on most fans list to add to their collections. If the images are anything to go by it’ll be a blast to put together. Aranobilis98 has produced a high quality design that will sit an any shelf with ease and not look out of place at all.

To build your own, visit Rebrickable and purchase the instructions for just $10, it’s a steal when you think just how much work went into the build itself and the production of the instruction manual. You’ll need to have the the original. Check out the images below and share your thoughts in the comments section. Please support the creator by purchasing the instructions via Rebrickable.
