Calling all Medieval Modular fans, which probably isn’t many so just go with it. The latest alternative LEGO build transforms the Medieval Town Square (10332) set into a stunning Modular!

The alternative build by PL MOCs, is perhaps what you’ve been waiting for, a modular take on a Medieval Inn. It is built on a 32×32 stud baseplate (which you’ll need to source), and would slot in a Cityscape with ease. The model captures the traditional look of a Inn or Tavern and features details associated with the style including railings, foliage, and more. If you’re an avid fan of LEGO Modulars, you’ll recognise the familiar shape of at least the ground floor – it is heavily inspired by the Parisian Restaurant, from which it takes the floor plan and facade structure.

The first floor is a seating area located in front of and inside the building. There is a spacious kitchen where all kinds of food and beverages are prepared for guests. The backyard is accessible through the kitchen. Stairs on the side of the building lead to the second floor, as well as to the terrace with additional seating for guests. The second floor is an apartment that can be rented. It is decorated with medieval artefacts—old weapons, documents, and even a large throne. There is a bed in one corner, and a fireplace with firewood just behind the entrance. There is also a small balcony at the front of the building. Wooden stairs lead to the third floor, which is covered by the roof. The third floor is an apartment where guests can try painting a shield using brushes and colors on the table. There is also a bed and a fireplace.

The designer has done an incredible job with the build and would be on my list of possible additions if I had the time and original set to build it from. If the images are anything to go by it’ll be a blast to put together. PL MOCs has produced a high quality design that will sit in a City with ease and not look out of place at all.

To build your own, visit Rebrickable and purchase the instructions for just £10, it’s a steal, when you think just how much work went into the build itself and the production of the instruction manual. You’ll need to have the the original LEGO Medieval Town Square (10332) set in your collection or source it especially.
