Calling all Lord of the Rings fans, today’s MOC (my own creation) feature is calling out to be made – The Argonath by Raguidel!
The model is a brick-built representation of the Pillars of the Kings a.k.a the Argonath from the Lord of the Rings books and movies. Made from a total of 2,103 pieces, the giant landmark is a spectacle to behold, complete with the Fellowship passing peacefully between them. The monument is made of two statues representing Isildur and Anàrion (or Isildur and his father Elendil in the film) standing either side of the River Anduin, marking the northern border of Gondor.

The designer has done an incredible job with the build and would be on my list of possible additions if I had the time and money to source the parts and build it. With a respectable 2,104 pieces, the cost will be rather high to gather the parts for, but if the images are anything to go by it’ll be a blast to put together. Raguidel has produced a high quality design that will sit amongst a display with ease and be the centrepiece, every LOTR fan should have one of these.
To build your own, visit Rebrickable and our chase the instructions for just €5, it’s a steal, when you think just how much work went into the build itself and the production of the instruction manual. You’ll need to have the parts in your collection or source them from BrickLink or BrickOwl.
Check out the images below and share your thoughts in the comments section. Please support the creator by purchasing the instructions via Rebrickable.
Raguidel has stated a few artistic liberties were taken to create an eye-pleasing set, not having built yet it may or may nit be totally stable.
