When it comes to alternative LEGO set builds, we are big fans, with a few under our belt already we can’t get enough. See on what talented people come up with using the bricks & pieces from an already official set. Today we have a very sweet alternative build for you, a Fairy House, by BrickAtive!
If your are a fan of LEGO and Christmas sets you are in for a real treat, as BrickAtive has taken the LEGO Alpine Lodge (10325) set and given it a small but mighty modular feel. BrickAtive is extremely talented and has many MOCs and Alternative designs on his Rebrickable account, we chose this particular one as we hope to try it ourselves nearer Christmas.
The original LEGO Alpine Lodge (10325) will cost you £89.99, but it’s a wonderful set in its own right. It had a total of 1,517 pieces whilst this alternative build has 1,687 pieces – it needs an additional 385 piece in order to finish the build fully.
The alternative design looks awesome and features a narrow, town house style, build, perfect for slotting into LEGO City or Street display. It consists of three modules and a removable chimney. Inside, there’s a fortune teller’s house (reception downstairs, fortune telling room on the first floor). This is the main reason I personally want to build it, I can easily find a gap in Gregsville for it, without it looking out of place – right next to the LEGO Tudor Corner (10350), once I’ve built it.
To make one for yourself you’ll obviously need the aforementioned LEGO Alpine Lodge (10325) set, along with the additional pieces. The PDF instructions which cost just $11 and the extra parts will vary depending where you shop. You can purchase and download these direct from the Rebrickable page.
