This week’s MOC Monday feature is from BrickDesigned.

I’ve choosen to focus on his smaller builds, in particular the furniture and room accessories.

I’m a sucker for these miniature detailed builds, as they are often really simple (yet complex) ideas and take only a handful of bricks. They add so much to a room scene and/or MOC, they truly are incredible little things.

I particularly like BrickDesigneds‘ models as, for one, he seems to have hundreds of them! And two they are really well designed and build.

I’ve hand picked a few of my favourites below:

TVs and Cabinets

The one that really stands out at me here is on the far left, multiple shelves and cupboards to store remotes and VHS/DVD players.

Fireplaces

The offset Fireplace is my top pick from these 3. As LEGO builders we tend to opt for symmetry, which would still work well, but being offset is a great idea and works amazingly well!

Beds

It has to be the four poster bed, who doesn’t like a traditional bed?! The sofa bed it also great.

Tables

Coffee tables, and plenty of them. I like the use of the CMF plates here, flat plates with just enough studs to places cups etc.

Food Carts

The colours used on these food carts match nicely and good well with the types of food they each sell. Great for popping on a street corner outside a store or on the beach in your LEGO city!

Cat Scratching Posts

I’m not a Cat fan but these play/scratching posts are great. If I had a Cat I’d definitely give building these a go.

Please head over to Instagram and give BrickDesigned a follow, look through his MOCs and see what inspires you. Don’t forget, if you do build one of his ideas and share it please tag him, I’m sure he’d love to see it being used. It also gives respect and credit to him, the original creator, and supports the MOC community greatly!
